Goodbye 15kgs!

Today is one of those happy dance days. This morning at my weekly weigh-in I smashed the 15 kg milestone I set, losing .9 kgs over my weekly goal.  My weight is slowly creeping down, or to use a metaphor I've adopted from the start (thanks to Tracey FK's daughter) those rice bags are slowly being dumped off.

What really kick me along this week was going back to regular exercise, which has been very hap-hazard lately. I set a schedule for exercising and filled out a weekly meal plan (mostly just dinner, as I'm doing meal replacements with light snacks in between). Being prepared and focused makes all the difference for me. If I don't have that structure I end up floundering and then the whole week is gone and I've done very little towards my goals.

  1. Woo Hoo!!!! 15kg - that is AMAZING!! Well done you and I am totally inspired by you. Back in January I started changing the way I eat and doing more exercise with the need to lose 40lb....I have now lost7lb - a milestone. It is slow and quite painful at times but I shall get there. And now I have seen what you have achieved that will inspire me to keep going.
    Thank you!!! and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

  3. Thanks Geri and Lesley, it does feel great!

I'm not quite half way there though, so there is still a lot of focus ahead.

My biggest piece of advice is make it a lifestyle not a diet.

I still eat bread and cake and all those 'naughty' things, but in moderation.

Wishing you both all the motivation and inspiration to succeed xx
