SWEET SATURDAYS: Awesome Bread made into Focaccia

Oh, sweet bread, you are so tasty, and addictive.

In Anna's awesome Rustic Artisanal No-knead Bread, which I've been making every weekend for the last month or so, she mentions that you can turn the dough into Focaccia, so I made an extra batch of dough this weekend and made it into two Focaccias, they turned out great.

Linking with Sweet Saturdays pop over and take a look at all the sweet things.

  2. Hi Tracey came back to say thank you for commenting on my PPF pieces and for the info on Phillip Fox, had never heard of him before as I cut the original picture out of magazine and there wasn't any info on the artist. Thank you very much, am off to look him up now.

The bread looks delicious. My husband has just baked two loaves this morning and am longing for a slice....... Annette x

    1. Netty,

      You are very welcome.

I did an admiration file on E Phillips Fox and his wife Ethel Carrick on my blog:

I forgot the s on Phillip, apologies if you had trouble with a google search.

The exhibition that was here, was really great, I saw it several time, it really inspired me to paint thickly, gesturally and capture light.

Oh lucky you for having a skilled bread making husband! It is such a craft to master.

Nothing beats home made bread fresh out of the oven.

      We've got some cooking now!

      xx

    1. Nothing beats home made bread! You are so right. I've been on a quest to find the perfect tasting (low effort) bread recipe, and I found it with this one.

      I'd highly recommend trying it.
