The weeks are mounting up, can you believe it's been 14 weeks of
Last week we had the lovely Peggy and Stephanie join in the fun and share with us a little snap shot into their studios. I really enjoy popping over to both these wonderful artists' blog and having a look around, they both inspire me greatly. Below is what they shared with us for P&P #13. Double click on the photo or the name to find out more about their Palettes & Paints.
Peggy shares the most beautiful photos with us,
isn't that plate gorgeous, and those eye shadow brushes are a fantastic idea,
so inventive!
Stephanie is on a quest to do 29 faces in the one painting,
just watching the piece develop each day is such a treasure,
her style and colour palette is so stunning.

Taking a photo of my palette and paint each week helps me to actually pick up a brush and squeeze out some paint, it motivates me to start painting, {starting seems to be the hardest bit these days, but once I start, it's hard to stop!} with all the other things fighting for my time, I find that I just don't do as much painting as I'd like, I'm working on finding a better balance. How about you? Do you struggle with finding a balance between creating and doing everything else - be it blogging, housework, socializing or the business side of your practice? Do you have any tips or tricks you can share with us? If you do, please share them below in the comments.
I'll be sharing the SHOWCASE #13 throughout the day on:

I'm struggling to find the right balance too, so I don't have any tips and tricks - but would be grateful to get some. I also find it often hard to pick up paint and brush, even though I want to, but once I've finally started, the hours just fly past. I really enjoy seeing all the different palettes here, along with the works. It's so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteHi Tracey!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see all pallets even though I have not participated lately too!
