Studio Update: An inspiring week.

What an inspiring {yet hectic} week! I've been looking at the paintings of Carrick and Fox, can you tell? As I sit down to write this post late on Friday afternoon, I'm not sure where the week went, it seems like it was Monday morning a few days ago. Did your week go fast, or did it drag on?  Looking back on my week in the studio, I have achieved a fair bit, ticked some things off my ever growing list of tasks to do, which is always a good thing. Here is what's on the studio desk at the moment:

I quickly took some photos of both the artworks I've been working on at the stage they are right now. Because the paint is still wet {they both literally just come off the easels} and the light is fading they are not the best photos, but I just couldn't wait to share {impatient me}, and it is Paint Party Friday after all.

I think 'Valentine' {above} is done! I will have to wait until the morning and have a look at the painting with fresh eyes {not tired ones} to make the final decision.  It would be nice to say this one is finished though!

Again, not the best photo... I started this painting with it in mind to submit it for Inspiration Avenue's weekly challenge on 'What inspires you?'.  I'll see how I go tomorrow and this evening {if I get some time to work on it} as I'd like to have it finished before I put it up on the blog, there is still many things I'm not happy with, and those hands, have not even got a coat of paint yet!

Talking about inspiration, I set up a linky this week for artist to share their blogs and the blogs of others in order to get inspired and admired :) Feel free to go over and add your blog, I'd love to know what you do.
