Pushing around some paint.

I had a bit of a play with paint this afternoon and got a bit carried away, I should have stopped before I did as the paint got muddier the more I put on. I'll have to wait until it is dry to go back into it with highlights and darkness and bring out the crispness again. At least the structure is there!  To my artist followers, I ask, do you know when to stop with your paintings before you overwork them?
