STUDIO UPDATE: Petunia Drawings.


Hi there! 
It's great to be back updating my blog and joining in on Paint Party Friday again.  
I missed you all last week.  

 
I'm up to drawing the petunia in 3d after having done some study on drawing 3d shapes
(Karmatoons Drawing Lessons)

 
It has helped a lot doing the drawing lessons because now I can give my artwork more depth.


When I compare my progress between the Petunias I drew before the 3d lesson (2nd photo in this post) and the ones I draw after (first photo), I'm very happy with the result. I'm doing a little happy dance like the character above on the left.

    Some real progress there - it's a shame so many people think they can't draw like it's a magical talent you must be born with - it takes desire and work! I love your happy dance character and the flowers have real depth and interest.
