This is the most people that I have seen at one time on Bay Tce Wynnum EVER!

In my last post about Wynnum Up Late I showed you some pictures of The Collective Store and Mason and Daughter during the day and asked you to imagine it at night time with lots of people.  Did you imagine it like this (photos below)?  I knew it was going to be big, but the amount of people exceeded my expectations. Here are some photos I took last night at:

The Collective Store

The lovely ladies at The Collective Store. Owner Leonie on the left.

One of my paintings in the front window

Ladies checking out the jewelry cabinet at the counter

People looking at the beautiful goodies the store has on offer

A pop up store on the foot path selling knitted goodies.  Boy it was cold!

People on Bay Tce checking out the beautiful handmade pop up stalls

More people having a good time on Bay Tce

People watching the Fashion Parade on the foot path

Mason and Daughter

Gallery quests chatting with the owner Melanie Mason

Two gallery goers checking out the jewelery cabinet

Four of my paintings are on this wall, can you pick them?

The suitcase rummage down the lane way

I will be uploading more photo's into these two albulms on Facebook:

 Have a fantastic weekend all!

Wynnum Up Late!

Everyone is talking about...

.... well at least all the locals are!

'Vintage items, jewellery and small art pieces will be some of the treasurers on offer at next week’s Wynnum Up Late event.  After a successful inaugural event in March, more than a dozen craft and boutique stores in Wynnum’s CBD will open for evening trade on Thursday, June 16 from 5pm until 8pm'. 1. Last week I took more paintings to The Collective Store and Mason and Daughter for this event.

The Collective Store

Picture this footpath at night time, filled with lots of people checking out the artisan pop-up stalls, the live music from a local jazz duo and the fashion parade on the footpath!

Now imagine wondering inside to check out all the beautiful handmade goodies in store. Here are some inside shots of the store and my artwork. Notice the beautiful clothes by Wind and Water Designs?

Mason and Daughter

Now imagine this lane way at night all lit up and packed with a suitcase rummage...

....And the gallery packed with art and  live entertainment!

Below is some of my artwork, there will be more on display on the night, check out my album on Facebook to see which works have been sent to the gallery for hanging.

'Other businesses are hosting Indigenous Storytime for your little ones, craft demos, hair styling demos, goodie bags, artist talks and just general fun, fun, fun! The Olive Cafe will be open for delicious coffee and homemade cake too. Come along, have a glass of bubbles and enjoy the night!' 2.

Awesome muffin from the Olive Cafe

Here is a list and map of the stores involved:

Don't just imagine, come along,
(that's if you are close enough).
