WORKDESK WEDNESDAY: On a Thursday, what am I thinking?

It's been a busy week, so far. I've been doing lots of little projects here and there and was away from the studio most of Wednesday. I run out of time {and energy} to actually post these photos I snapped in the morning of my studio, so here they are, on a Thursday.

For most of my WOYWW followers, you may be surprised, and relieved, that I have a cluttered workspace to share with you this week, bits and pieces everywhere! I didn't get a chance to do my evening clean up the previous night. I find if I keep on top of the mess and put away my 'things' at the end of the day, I can fight away the clutter bug within, well at least that's the plan. It seems more difficult when I've got a lot of projects on the go though.

NEW paintings at The Collective Store

I'm off to do the WOYWW rounds and check out what everyone has been creating.
See you in blog land!

  1. Hi Tracey,
Is that a "Klimt inspired" girl in the background? She looks lovely! Happy WOYWW!

    1. Yes RosA, It's inspired by Klimt. It was done for my Monthly Painters Challenge piece on Fabric. I'm a huge KLIMT fan. More info on it here: http://traceypotterartist.blogspot.com.au/2011/12/studio-update-new-painting.html

Love your paintings, I was down at the Collective Store today, putting in my computer bugs. I was busy nattering to Leonie and didn't see your pics, will have to look next time.

    1. Von, I thought you may appreciate my cluttered desk :)

A few of my paintings were put straight up on the walls at The Collective Store, the rest were behind the counter, awaiting hanging.

Next time I'm in, I'll have to check out your bags.

      xx

  10. I love your paintings. Although I do not agree that this is messy. Messy is when you can't see the desk because of all the stuff on it! I'd call this clean :)

    Happy WOYWW (on Friday!)
