Wednesday's Work desk

Wednesday rolled around quickly! Here's what's on my work desk today.

I'm still working out how to frame my inspiration artworks. Finding the right frame from my collection is proving more difficult than I thought.

I glued the backing on three of my artworks, I still have to paint them and put d-rings and wire on them before they are ready to hang, but there is no rush at the moment because I'm focusing on...

... creating my Monthly Painters Challenge piece, it's due in 6 days, and once again I've left it to the last minute {well, week}. I can't show you the actual painting I'm working on because we can not reveal the piece or the topic until the 15th. Come over to  Facebook and 'like' the page to follow the groups progress {that's where we upload our work} or follow the MPC Board on Pinterest. {we have 152 people following it already!}.

  2. It has been tough working out what to paint this month. I can't wait to see what you do Tracey. Glad you think my desk is tidy, I was feeling it was a little messy, those brushes and other odds and ends usually get put away at the end of the day, and have not made it back into the cupboard the last few nights, That clutter bug must not creep back out.

  8. @ Crafting Time, I have three tables, plenty of room to spread out! I work better without the clutter. I do have to fight against my nature thought to keep it tidy.

  12. Hi Tracey, I do envy your lovely neat, clean space. I work in Constant Chaos. (Hey, that's a name I should have used for my blog!) Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind words. I am going to just stare at that canvas a bit longer but I think the lady smelling the rose is probably going to go there. And I am still loving Val and her cat. I would keep her on my desk too!

  17. That artwork is impressive. I wish I could paint. By the way UTEE is Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. We all tend to use shorthand for things without thinking of those who have not come across it before. That is one of the many techniques I want to try out.

  19. Love your paintings, but how do you keep your desk and surrounds so clean. When I paint everything gets a bit, mostly on me but the desk and floor get plenty of paint too.
