Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - and you're welcome, re my comments on yours! Every one was so well-deserved! I'm glad you like my butterfly mirrors. From an artist of your calibre, that is praise indeed. Hope you have a great weekend! The yellow I put on the background yesterday afternoon (4pm-ish) is actually dry now, (it's 10.20am the next morning here).

I used to paint in Acrylic, and like to use the Acrylic Glazing Medium by Golden, I found it to be really great because it opened the time you could push around the paint, and also gave it a glossy finish. Here's a link to the Glazing medium I recommend you trying (if you have not already):https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=185759949094&set=a.176661059094.122732.119894169094&type=3&theater

Have a fantastic weekend! xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00730848304553979781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-564447779732476026.post-83348588843410800372011-12-08T23:46:56.634+10:002011-12-08T23:46:56.634+10:00I just wanted to let you know I won't be able ...I just wanted to let you know I won't be able to join in on the paint palette-y fun this week because my computer is in intensive care, so I can't upload photos right now. Hopefully, I'll be back next week! LOVE your painting, it's coming along so beautifully! And yes, oil IS lush, but how do you manage to be so patient- I'd be dying to carry on especially at such a gorgeous point....Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02215381410223424522noreply@blogger.com
